Did you ever wonder what would happen if you only ate styrofoam? Would you still be hungry?
If we ignore the part where you’d die, then yes, you’d be hungry.
Why?
Because you’re eating indigestible plastic, your body is not getting any calories or nutrients it needs.
Calories
Now… what would happen if we added some sugar?
In that case you’re getting some calories. So you’ll live longer. But not too long, unfortunately.
Even though there are some calories involved, this “food” has ZERO nutrients and vitamins. (which are vital for staying alive)
After the body depletes its nutritional reserves, then you’ll get sick and die. (no matter how much calories you keep entering)
Your Body Is Crying For Help
REMEMBER: Everything that your body does is good. One of those things is cravings.
Now, I know you hate cravings. But have you ever wondered why we have cravings in the first place? 🤔
Especially since most of us have a couple of extra pounds around our waist.
Having (substantial) fat storage means we already have enough (or too many) calories.
But why would our body trigger the feeling of hunger then?
Because our bodies are programmed to believe that the food will contain nutrients (alongside the calories).
Processed Food
As we all know, processed food is not really famous for being the most nutritional food out there.
Basically, processed food is not much different from a mixture of styrofoam and sugar.
This means even though we entered enough daily calories, we didn’t even scratch the surface when it comes to nutrients and vitamins.
Then our body wants more food, and day after day, we overeat on calories and starve for nutrients.
Accidental Weight Loss
What I discovered is that when you give your body ALL the missing nutrients, the cravings stop.
As a result, you eat less (without even trying) and you end up losing fat (also without even trying).
